Yesterdays: I was born in Calgary, Alberta, in the 60's to University educated, immigrant/refugee parents. That makes me, a 1st generation Canadian. I have lived in Calgary, Halifax, Fredericton, Ottawa and Toronto. Recently, in the late 90s, with a sales territory of Canada, saw extensive travel for work, which resulted in exposure to all of Canada and USA. I speak more then one language and has grown up in a multi-cultural environment. This created rich and varied experiences while growing up. My early years included: newspaper routes, Canadian Tire Automotive, Sporting Goods at K-Mart and then the Ottawa Civic hospital as a Nursing Orderly. From an early age there was an intentions to attend medical school, so finally working in the hospital was to be the proving ground. Loved the work, and I find myself, very much people oriented. Success a tips oriented business, Newspaper route, or in the hospital, with sickness as a added stress, rely on pleasant personal skills to excel. Numerous patient commented they felt my dealings with them, that I had "a great bedside manner" ;o) Once circumstances uncovered that Medical school was not going to happen, I then worked on some major projects at Stats Canada, to see if shifting to IT would suit me. After High School in Ottawa at Merivale High School, I graduated from University of Toronto (mid 80s) with a degree in Computer Science and Philosophy, having 1st started out in the pre-medical program. I felt it worth mentioning 20+ years; the degree, the cultural & language aspects, so as to show, how far back environment and experences go to creating a flexible, thinker. I have repeatedly been an asset for a team by "coming out of left field". This talent, among others, has allowed me to leave a positive influence, wherever I have found myself. Multi-cultural exposures linked with travel helps provide, flexibile personality traits, which are necessary in today's dynamic multi-aspected teams. The remainder of my story is well covered in the various subsections of this Web site. On the personal side, there has been a "bit" more then the "usual" action and adventure a peer may have. A special needs child, a divorce, and the associated "extras". I am very proud of my Kids and mom in their behavior and achievements thru it all. With numerous passions in life, I can "show" one, that is, it can be "put" up on the web, photography, (site under construction) Thank You, for taking an interest in me. I hope this site has provided you with the necessary details to move forward, positively, in whatever business relationship we might share.
